Going on Two Weeks

I think I have not partaken of soda for two weeks. This is something I've wanted to do for a while now, but since school's out it's been much easier. Also, I don't work at the Hospital anymore, where I drank so much soda I'm sure I could have filled a couple bathtubs from all of it.

The start date is a little nebulous, which is why I think it's been two weeks. Could be less, who knows. I wish I could say that I feel so much better, have more energy, and gained super powers because of cutting out soda, but in all honesty, the aforementioned positive benefits more likely come from all of the running and biking I've been doing. Katie and I have been out getting our excercise on all week (more or less), which is great for many reasons. I get to play with her, we get some excercise, and we get some sun. Or at least some covert UV rays through all the cloud cover. I also went on a 13mi bike ride a couple days ago. Kicked my ass, but I made it.

The plan is to go a couple more weeks without the colas, let's say until Flag Day, a personal favorite useless holiday. That will put me at about a month, or close enough to it. If I can do a month, I can do forever.
