The End is Nigh

A month and a half? Really? Wow. The internet might not show it, but it's been insane. Yet all things must end. And that is great, in this case.

I have planned out and charted on the back of an envelope when I am going to finish my last 5 assignments of the semester. This is manageable and completely within grasp. Some of you may remember the freak-out I had a couple weeks ago about the tsunami of work that was crashing over my head. That's passed, and thanks to Katie and Ashley, it even passed well (or at least I think so). All I have left:

  • Finish reading the last 75 pages of The Slynx (no big deal, and I'm not even counting this as an assignment)
  • Whip up a 20-minute conference presentation for Friday (4:00 pm, I'm on a panel, and ditto above)
  • Write a 15p review essay that I have already have done the bulk of the reading and note-taking for
  • Write 5p for my section of the genocide paper (I could probably go for 10 or 15 if I dictated it right now)
  • Create an undergrad syllabus out of one of my graduate classes (a pretty cool assignment)
  • Write a 15p paper on sex, sexuality, and family in post-Soviet literature (the hard one)
  • Turn my 13p conference paper into a 35-50p capstone (believe me, this will be no problem)

And hopefully by the time I finish my last 2 big papers, PSN will be back up so I can play Portal 2.
