Crazy Clue

via Rock, Paper, Shotgun

One of the things I miss about living in the Green House is the weekly D&D games. No joke, playing and hanging out every week was one of the big reasons I wanted to move in. Besides the fact that it was hella fun, all of us that played together I feel became better friends (well, except maybe for that Camel guy, he didn't really fit the group's milieu that well) as we worked together to kill Orcas' minions, swindle Juliet out of her magical pony statue, push bad guys off of a high wall and then empty a bag of fire onto their head, and generally make jokes for 3-4 hours straight. It seriously was some of the best of times.

In Lawrence, I don't have that. I wish I did, but right now I don't know if I could convince my friends to come sit down for a game. Which is a shame, but I know it's not everyone's bag. It's also a shame because I would love to play this game above, Mansions of Madness. We never did at the Green House get around to learning the Call of Cthulhu rules--also a shame--but nevertheless, this game looks sick.

Madness? Check. Shoggoths? Check. Miniatures? Check. It's like Clue, except you're all on the same team and one guy (the one not on your team) is trying to make you go insane and/or kill you. Man, I would love to get a game of this going. Seriously. I will buy this as soon as someone says they're in.

Ryan, Olivia, David, Juliet, and Jake (and John-Ross and Angela too): we need to play again soon.
