While in the midst of my morning constitutional, I read an article from USA Today about American Asshat No. 1. She Who Shall Not Be Named (because, frankly, the more people talk about her, the more famous and influential she gets, but by not using her name, Google has no idea this post is about S.P.) was quoted in said article saying the following about Ronald Reagan, who NPR posited in an article yesterday as perhaps the first teabagger. Anyway, from USA Today:
[Crazy Bitch] said friday that America is dangerously out of step with the values of former president Ronald Reagan, and warned that runaway spending and a ballooning bureaucracy in Washington had put the nation on a "road to ruin."
Upon reading this I thought to myself: Hmm, self. Didn't Papa Bush call Reagan's voodoo economics out on doing exactly that, tripling the naitonal debt? Besides, Reagan was too busy trying to spray the USSR in the face with his All-American spooge to even bother with "social reform" or whatever Queen Douche is calling the process by which she will fuck up the world.
She then went on to blast the current administration for going green and doing "everything in their power to stymie responsible domestic drilling." When I read that, I wagged me head in shame for the millions of people that listen to her and actually think that the words which fall so distatefully out form her mouth are worth the air she expends in spitting them out.
My favorite part of the article was when Reagan's kid slammed into S.P. for being a complete dipshit, calling her a "soap opera" and saying that she never was a serious presidential candidate and never will be. I cannot stand behind this guy with any more gusto than I have right now. The White Devil has supplanted every Paris Hilton wannabe and placed herself at the top of Mt Media Whore. Everything she says and does is to keep the focus on her, which means that she will continue to say and do increasingly stupider things, just like her other fame-slutting right wing buddies. I am not excited for the future.
